High FT4
I just had some blood work done and I H have a normal TSH 1.57 and a high FT4 of 1.13. What could cause my FT4 to be high if my TSH is normal?

If you are being treated for Hashimotos by external thyroid hormone supplementation then the high free T4 can be due to this supplementation. Other than this, it is possible that either FT4 or TSH reading is wrong. Please get a repeat test done with T3 levels done as well. The complete thyroid status can be judged by a combination of these tests, and other tests like rT3, thyroid antibodies etc. Take care!
