This is a question for my brother who is a 59 yr., white male, 6' tall, over weight at 308#, suffers from type 2 diabetes, has been suffering with sleeping disorders, severe pain in his legs, smokes too much, doesn't exercise, and drinks a couple of times per week. For the past 8 months, he has had a problem where he can't seem to hold his head up. He said he thought the muscles in his neck were bad. He went to the VA hospital for help, and they have recently completed an MRI. He said the results show a white mass on his brain or around his brain, he seems to keep changing his story, and he said they do not know what to do for him. He is in therapy and the therapist said she doesn't have any suggestions either. I am afraid that my brother is holding something back from us and I was wondering if a white mass on his brain or around his brain is cancer?
Thank you for your time,
