Herniated disc (I am confused)

I have a herniated disc C5-6 left protrusion and bulges at C3-4 and C4-5. My symptoms include pain in neck, pain behind left ear, pain and locking of left jaw, headaches, shocking feeling in tongue, face and arms, arm pain in left lower arm by my thumb, and loss of equilibrium, and dizziness. My Workmans Comp Dr released me to go to work on light duty even with all these symptoms. I am afraid to drive myself to work because of the dizziness. Are all of these symptoms associated with disc herniation? I was also seen for a SLAP lesion in the right shoulder. That shoulder has been grinding and popping alot lately. Where do I turn from here?

Do the symptoms that I describe sound typical for this injury?

I offer my sympathy as i had a herniated disc c5/6 right protusion, bulges c4-5-6-7. I could hardly turn my neck to the right or look up. I had pain in my little and ring fingers and could'nt close my hand without pain. I work as a scaffolder and work became a non-event. The injury occured Dec.07 and i was operated on at Jan.09. I have been having re-hab since and so far so good. The op seems to have worked ok but there is doupt as to wether i will ever scaffold again. Don't let the Dr's stand over you as i knew in my own mind that surgery was needed right from the start. I'm not thinking very well right now so if you have some questions send them back. Rest as much as you can. Brewster125
