Something is wrong and its being over looked

My issue is seems to higher up my back as I have tried to explain to the doctors, but I feel they are ignoring some issues about my complaints because it is workers comp related. Not that they would do it intentionally but because they may not be approved to get paid for it. Long story short, accident was caused by a 400lbs unit pulled then about crushed me down about 5 steps coming down a flight of stairs. I have had right shoulder surgery (labrum repair), major back pain in the middle of my back kind of leading from left to right and also hurts the buttocks back leg. Several test have been done and they are saying nothing is wrong. I also had hernia surgery right side a couple years prior and had issues with it since the surgery but of course it was bothered more  by accident also. Now since I had a myelogram the right side of my neck is in bad pain most of the time and the test has defined the back pain I have had (made it worse). I feel ill and sleepy all day now, sick to my stomach, urinary pain and feeling major pressure trying to urinate and frequent now feeling dizzy out of the blue. They attempted some kind of block for the hernia pain directly at the site of the surgery and those urinary issues started after that.  My worries are liver, bladder etc after they attempted to fix the hernia pain by attempting injections at the site of the surgery to block nerve pain. My back continues to kill me at times just as of right now typing this out I feel and electrical current feeling about 1 inch below my shoulder blade on the left side and it goes toward the right side into the center of my back, but when they hear back pain and buttocks pain they only looked in one spot and one spot only. Now keep in mind I have seen different doctors for each issue and one blames the other issue for the other issue if you get my point. The doctor for my back said its a reoccurring sprain. Any info would be so much appreciated anything, even if its general idea of what it could be or even a type of specialist for these types of issues. For example one says my hernia issues are coming from my back pain, my back is hurting cause of the hernia, my shoulder hurts cause of my neck, or the other way around. And I was told a myelogram would not cause my neck to hurt but only for a day or two most. So what do I need to do? I just want to feel better nothing more nothing less.
Thank you from a former Marine 0311

Now I have to say this for anyone having hernia issues. Stay on it and keep on it, there are several people that have this surgery that are having issues. Do not let them tell you its not possible or very strange because it never happens. I have done my research and there are a lot of people with this issue. I of course do not have numbers to back this up but my opinion from what I have researched, I would say 3 our of every 10 have this issue and it can become very sever even death. FDA has a posting of several mesh patches recalled and some have caused death. But when that information is presented they change the subject real fast. I have come to find this out the hard way, doctors will not admit to making a mistake. I have been told by two different doctors that a nerve was cut, or the mess did not take, or the shots to help with the pain has damaged a nerve causing even more issue with urinating. But then when its brought back up its taken as just an assumption and not a diagnoses. All I know is I have sever to moderate pain from the right side of my lower abominate down to my testicles and a partition on my penis. Sudden pressure  to have to urinate at any given moment too and having to push hard to urinate. At times I can barely do much of anything because of it, and along with my back hurting just make it even that much worse. I have been complaining of this issue right after the surgery and the only thing they did was attempt to block the pain and send me to two different IME doctors, not one diagnosis tool done such as MRI or anything that would look into the matter. Well I will stop now with my venting once again. This is just a little information for anyone having the same issues. Just to let you know your not the only one so don't let them fool you.

This situation has not really got any better. I have seen two different IME doctors so they can try and blame one thing on another but they have no way to argue about the issue so I have been referred to a urologist over the hernia pain. The screwed up thing about it is that the urologist in this area keep telling me they don't deal with hernia issues. Plus the insurance company will not call anyone to give the approval for me to see them, when I ask it seems to never happen. My lawyer (bless his heart honestly) as been dealing with a lot of difficult people in the matter. Thus so far nothing has been done again medically so I still suffer. Been through two depositions and put on the hot set. Asked questions that do not pertain the matter at all; seems all they are doing is trying to dig up dirt which they will not find because there is none. Seems so sad to me that I signed my life away to fight for this country and its freedom to get a real taste of how people are in life...(mean) everyone starts off thinking everyone is telling a lie or up to no good and are ready to screw you in a drop of a dime to get a dollar in their pocket from doing it. Honestly when I think about it, they are not just hurting me by making me suffer by not fixing the issue, but keeping food and good shelter from my family. I have had to move into a cheap 1 bedroom old falling apart apartment loft because of this.  All I did was my job and got hurt, even after telling my supervisor it was not safe several times. Now I am the bad guy according to how they treat me anymore. All I really wanted was to have the issue fixed, now it is about getting everything I can because I will need it to get my family back on track. I feel so awful for venting like this and wished we as Americans or really for that matter the world would just take care of each other... isn't that what is about...or is it a dog eat dog world out there. Guessing so since people like me and others in this situation are treated so unfair and with total disrespect.

P.S.
I hate to tell you this I wouldn't go to a chiropractor anymore. They frown on it and will more and likely try to blame that for making it worse. I asked to see one and they said no because its a temporary fix and you have to continue to see one and or it can make the issue worse.

If it hasn't been over two years get a lawyer. Especially since you have evidence of damage. I can not stress to you enough how much you need one these days for these kind of cases. It varies state to state on workers comp laws. Your work will tell you one thing and the their insurance will tell you another. I have learned not to trust them at all about anything. The bad thing is I know if its been two years from the accident or two years from your last TTD if you got any from the insurance that is the cut off time. Do not give up even if you cant find one to take your case at first. I had to go to several before I found one and from what I gather is a very good one too, well l really hope. I feel your pain because I feel my injury is in my neck or closer up that way not my lower back area. I think that is just residual pain kind of like underlining issue behind the injury itself. Just like this moment right now I woke up because the pain from that hernia surgery is getting very much unbearably  painful anymore. Guess the only way I will get any serious attention is if something bust open in me. I wish you luck and again get a lawyer now do not waste anymore time. I wish I had got one sooner than what I did because I was off one day on limitation for OSHA to get involved too which would have been to my benefit big time. And you can by law choose the doctor you want too, and you are allowed a second opinion by law, you just have to ask.

similar case, workmans comp. mid back on the right, they took me to thier network Dr. He touched me once and prescibed inflamation and pain meds. 5lb limited, go back to work and see me in a week, went back and he asked how I felt, told him, I'm dizzy all the time and the pain now went to shoulders and neck, No comment, kinda looked at his paper that said back injury and sent me on my way.needless to say in between that week I only went work once, went to my family DR. and he found a kidney infection. went back to work 2days and could not make it the second day, cuz of dizziness and neck pain, was told to go back to network Dr, and he refused to see me, even after talking with my MGR. drove myself to emegency, found bulging discs in neck. but now they are saying to has nothing to do with first injuiry. been going to Physical therapy twice a week, and seeing the Neuroligist. seems to help, they are saying nerves are out of whack. but now I feel the back pain again because the neck pain subsided, went to Chirapractor last week and he took xrays. Yeah finally someone who is going to really look to see whats going on. I have a rib out of place. But still they say its not from the first accident, they denied me. PLEASE HELP not sure how from a rib being out of place to neck and shoulder pain, dizziness and kidney infection all have in commom.

OMG now I feel stupid as can be. I went to the ER this evening because of the fevers and abdominal pain and testicle pain, and they refused to see me. They said it was workers comp and I had to have approval first. I told them I was concern something was seriously wrong because of the fevers and abdominal pain with and the swelling. They LAUGHED at me, I asked so are you refusing to see me and they shook their heads and said yes. WTF and I am so sorry for being blunt with my words but I have never in my life felt so small and embarrassed. And of course the fever and pain continues and those laughs still are in my head. So I guess I just have to suffer.... this just isn't right.

I looked up hernia issues on here and I found out I am not the only one. The doctor that did the surgery and the insurance company was acting as if I was one in a million case and its near impossible to have the issues I have from that hernia surgery, but not according to the people here with the same complaints. I feel I will be going to the emergency room today because the pain is just too much anymore. Not one test as been done just anti inflammatory drugs and mild pain meds. To be honest they might as well gave me tick tacs. There has to be some kind of relief for this kind of pain and discomfort.

Yes I do have an attorney. But it seems the major issue is approvals before any visit to a doctor. Takes for ever for them to come through.  I am worried about that hernia patch, there have been several recalled. Some have been very sick from it and even died. I have been attempted to go to the emergency room but have held off on it because they seem to treat you has if your just seeking drugs which really upsets me. They never do any test, pretty much if your not running a fever or have a bullet in you, they send you home. It isn't about pain medications or management to me but fixing the issue so I can go back to my normal life. I will keep you all posted also just in case someone has similar issues they can get some idea of what to look forward too and maybe get around all the BS I have been through ( pardon my language) :))

U poor dear...workman comp cases don't get the attention they deserve!!!! It definetely sounds like u have nerve impingement issues...maybe even spinal cord compression issues. I'm no dr, just my own opinion. Ur pain and neurological issues are real and u have a very valid reason to worry!!!! Workman comp cases are hard to get even 2nd opinions for different drs. I'm so sorry u have a workmans case as this makes it so hard to get the proper treatment. Keep me posted, take care *hugs*

I just want to be sure no one takes offense to me saying they are ignoring issues. Not again they would do it on purpose but may not be allowed to since the issue is workers comp and each and every thing has to be per approved. This has been drawn out over one year about .
