Hi,
There are a number of possible reasons for blood in the urine .The common causes are infections in the bladder or prostate, inflammations of the kidney, stones in the bladder or elsewhere in the urinary tract and tumours of the urinary tract like warts, benign growths and cancers. For kidney pain you may take a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug such as ibuprofen or naproxen .Few doctors also recommend Tamsulosin to speed the passage of stones. The size and location of ureter stones are the most important factors for predicting the spontaneous passage of the stone. Lithotripsy is a good option for stones 1 cm or less in the kidney and upper ureter. Consult a nephrologist for more queries and assistance. Hope it helped.
Best luck and regards!
