surgery not related to neck, but.....

Hi am scheduled for a diagnostic endoscopic, have problems from 6 mont ago hemmoroidectomy, is there any reason to be concerned about my protruding nerve root near C7, will it interfere with the anestesia or anything I am planning to tell anestisiologist, they wouldnt cancel surgery for something like that would they?

I am actually having a colonoscopy for a dx as to hematochezia, dr indicates if sees anything from prior hemmorodectomy( 5 mth ago) that h will correct it,,,I think the prior hemmoriods internl were very lardg and something did not heal right thus th bleeding and the need for full sedation,,sorry should been clearer,,ty  Cherie

There would not be any contraindications regarding endoscopic procedures as it relates to your cervical spine condition.  (The disc protrusion is affecting the nerve root -- the nerve root isn't actually protruding, but responding to the disc with inflammation, etc)
If you are having general anesthesia (unusual for diagnostic tests) the intubation procedure would not affect the spine either.  
Please clarify if you are having "surgery" at this time.  Endoscopic procedures are usually done under conscious sedation which produces a sleep-like state and decreases the perception of discomfort during the procedure.  
When is your endoscopic procedure scheduled?
