Hmmmm how did you know they were herniated prior to the MRI??
i had an ct scan and mri back in october 1989 when i first hurt my back
Wow I didn't know they could repair on their own.
According to my surgeon, it's not uncommon for herniated discs to "retract" back into the sac and relieve the pressue on the nerve/surrounding tissue.
When I first herniated my disc at L4/L5....I had to wait 6 months before the surgery just to see if the problem went away on it's own.
CT scans image bone so unless they used some dye for contrast they usally cannot be definate about whether a disk has herniated
