All of a sudden, I have a sudden pain above my hips(around the love handles area).

Okay so basically, I went to the gym today and i did the ellipticals, and did a few of the machines that help with the different types of muscles and such. I did do one where you put your feet on a stand and you would push with your back. Nothing happened, and when I went home everything was normal. I was going to get food and when I bent over a little to get something, there was a sudden pain around the love handles area(the back) right above the hips. Now it hurts when I bend over while standing, or when I lean over. It also hurts when I put weight on my left leg. Like for example if i just stand on my left leg it hurts. It also hurts when I sit down or when I am sitting and I move around. It just happened so I am going to try to see if its gone by the time I wake up the next morning. Please tell me if this is temporary, or is it a serious problem? What can I do to fix it? (And to fix permanently, just not to fix the pain temporarily.)
