Ankylosing Spondylitis

Hi,
about 2 years back when i had uveitis second time i got diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis as i was having some backpain also (which i was thinking is due to my posture) and also hla-b27 is found positive.  i had uveitis again 3rd time last year and after that i have deloped some floaters also in the eye.
i am doing regular yoga and back exercises so i don't have pain in the back,
my question is : if i keep on doing exercise and maintain a good routine and diet, is it possible that i can avoid fusion and effect and AS, can i do something for the eyes so that uveitis do not occur again.
i am also seeing a rheumatologist and i am taking sazo-1000 one daily for last about 2 yrs.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Though the symptoms and complications can be delayed by regular exercise, healthy lifestyle and medications;
These may not be completely preventable. There are no set medical guidelines that would help prevent uveitis in future. I would suggest continuing with the healthy lifestyle and the medical therapy suggested by your treating doctor for symptomatic control of the condition.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
