Can anyone help??

Hi. I have been posting in other areas, but I was hoping to get some advice here. Without going into a huge long story, I will give the nickle tour. About 8 monts ago, I was hurt on the job and developed an interior muscle tear. That tear got MRSA, and I was put on iv antibotics. I strugled with pain meds, and finally got on tramadol for the last 6 months. I got very addicted and was taken 20 a day for the last 1 1/2- 2 months. I am now 12 days clean, because of the Lord, and now have a pain that I didn't have before. On my right side in my lower back right above my butt. It feels likes a constant dull pain and gets a little worse when I sit. When I sit and lean forward, I can really feel it. It is not crying pain but it does hurt. My question is this: is this a pinched nerve, slipped disc, or just a muscle strain, or is this a symptom from coming off the tramadol? I was in a car wreck in 99 and have never felt the same. I had no pain until I got hurt, and this is not where I was hurt at. Anyone know what is up? I would appreciate all comments. Thanks.

if you have mrsa i would suggest useing colloidial silver....any heath food store should have it.....i have been makeing c.s. for almost 4 years and it works on a wide range of probems.....if you can use it topicaly that is the best way to use as it works on contact with whatever bug it can attach itself too....i can do and will use it internaly..and i also give it away to those in need of it .....it is very easy to make and very inexspensive....
i too am on tramadol now for 2 month for a compression fracture of t-12...
good luck too you

I just came off Tramadol and the pain your describing doesn't sound like it's from that.  I do know that while on Tramadol we can sometimes do stupid stuff and pull something without knowing it, we are on so much pain meds that we never notice a new injury.

As your Doctor about it and see if he can run a few tests.  Muscle strain - it should get better with rest. Pinched nerve- physio or mild stretching should help. Slipped Disc - will take an MRI to confirm but PT should help as well.

I'm sorry to say that due to the amount of Tramadol you were on I'm betting you injured yourself before and didn't notice the pain and now it's there with a vengance.

Good luck.
