I the neurosurgeon today and he said my spinal cord is being pressed on in the thoratic area, but the worst part was in the cervical area.  He showed me the pictures from the MRI were it was compressed down by the hernieated disk.  He says I need surgery right away.  There are no options.  Any bad movement could cause serious injury.

I have had similar problems over the last year, age 47, male.  I have had headaches, insomnia, numbness in my left side and leg, some vision issues, and others.  I used to do a lot of running but I am very week and have low energy.  With this, there is quite a bit of depression and some short term memory issues.  I have had a brain MRI which showed a few scares.  They tested for lyme and MS (spinal tap) which were both OK.  I just had an MRI on the spine, it showed 7 herniated discs in the c3-c6 area and the T7-T112 areas.  It also had other descriptions of issues in there that I will see another doctor on in a week.  I hope to find some answers soon.
