Thanks, I have been trying to avoid going to the doctor for years because I didn't want to hear what they had to say. I'm guessing it will be bad news. But of late the symptoms have been getting worse to the point i can't move my neck at all. I did it 6 years ago, i was in the backseat of a car that got wrapped around a street light. I should've gone to the hospital then but i hid my injuries instead, even tho my throat had been slit from ear to ear. But I will make an appointment for next week and have it checked out.
Yes, get yourself to the doctor. After the proper tests and it's ok, go to a good chiorpractor instead of doing it yourself if the doctor recomends it. If the tests show you need to see a surgeon please do it and not ignore this any longer. How did you fracture your neck?
Good Luck
HI there. You need to get thyself first to your primary physician, even better, make an appt. with an orthopedic specialist/surgeon and get an MRI to evaluate what is going on in your neck. You may have a herniated disk that is causing your pain in your neck and and finger. yes, pain, numbness, tingling can absolutely be related to what is wrong in your neck. If you do have a herniated disk and it is impinging on your spinal cord that is even more of an urgence to see a Dr. Go get evaluated. WHen you get your MRI results (you can ask for a copy of them through the medical records dept) and post them here and we can take a look see. GOOD LUCK to you.
Oh, and I would also not recommend you be wrenching your neck around to crack it - you may really injure yourself badly. Not a good idea.
