stabbing sharp pain

hi, my name is david, im 29 years old. For the past couple months iv been getting a stabbing sharp pain that feels like its coming from in my head but i cant point out exactly wear. When i get the pain it only lasts a split second and goes away but it happend many times very often throughout the day. Sometimes i notice that touching my neck lightly will trigger that "jolt" that i feel or even rubbing my fingers together...its very odd almost like it has something to do with my skin? or some nerve that has to do with my sense of touch. I saw one neuro already and had an MRI done of the brain that came back normal and now im seeing another neuro in a week....please let me know if you have any ideas on what this can be....its cripple me for the last 4 months ....thank you :)

A stabbing pain is localised in one part of the back, like a stab wound. Hope that's helpful.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi!
Since touching the neck triggers the pain, a MRI of neck should be done. Nerve compression is a possibility. Tooth ache, low vitamin D, low vitamin B12, high blood pressure and sinusitis are the other possibilities. A comprehensive investigation is required keeping all the points in mind. Do discuss this with your doctor and get yourself examined. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
