Help me understand

I was injured at work on April 2, 2009. I take care of profoundly  developmentally disabled adults, who rely on us for everything in their lives, including being  repositioned and changed. etc.
I was diagnosed at that time with low back strain/pain. I have experianced pain in my lower right back hip buttock and right thigh front constantly since this injury numbness in my right upper thigh and groin, as well as in the right side of my crotch. I also had slow onset of pain in my neck right side, headache, upper right arm, shoulder, numbness and tingeling in my right hand little finger and ring  finger. I had an MRI  on my lumbar spine in June, the MRI report stated this " Right Paracentral disc protrusion at T12-L1" The problem is this.. my occ. med doc is saying that my symptoms do not correlate with this MRI reading and that this bugle is "old" and would not cause symptoms.. However my pain has always been in this area9since I was injured). According to the doctor that I had to see for the Workers Comp Independant Medical (Spine and Spinal cord specialist) exam says my pain is "classic" of a T12-L1 bulge.  She has also said that it does not matter the age of the bulge, that what matters is the on set of symptoms.
My Cervical MRI was  just done a week ago as the Occ med doctor did not seem to think my neck pain, headaches etc, seemed to matter Cerviacl MRI was ordered by the Spine specialist. the report for that says this
C2-3 Disc desiccation w/o  disc height loss, no herniation. mild degenerative facet changes no signifigant  canal or neural fomminal narowing.
C3-4disc desiccation w/o disc height loss, no herniation, mild degenerative facet changes no signifigant canal or neural foraminal narrowing
C4-5disc desiccation w/o height loss no herniation mild to moderate right predominate degenerative changes, central canal is developmentally mildly small no signifigant neural forminal narrowing.
C5-6 disc desiccation w/o height loss no "obviouse" herniation, mild degenerative facet changes, central canal is developmentaly mildly to moderatly small there is mild bilateral neural forminal narrowing.
C6-7 disc desiccation w/o height los, no herniation. Mild degenerative facet changes, central canal is mildly small. no signifigant neural foaminal narrowing.
C7-T1 disc desiccation, no herniation, mild degenerative facet changes, no signifigant canal or foraminal narrowing

So my question is this. what does all of this mean? Could this all have been brought on by my being  pulled forward over a bed rail while I was leaned over at work? Or is it more of a repetative heavy lifting injury? I am at a loss for explinations, and  just want to figure out what I ned to do I have been dealing  with the pain and weird sensations and life disruptions for almost a year. Will these things just continue to get worse at time passes?  I have gone through weeks of PT. Rest with no lifting, ice, heat. pain meds I see a chiropractor 3x's a week with short lived relief. I don't sleep well and am unable to carry out alot of daily  tasks without pain.
