Glad you are seeing the specialist.  I have mild cord compression tat t8-t9(although the pain is never mild).  It's weird because I also have herniated discs at t4-t7 and thought we had a lot in common. I've had several rounds of P.T., do my stretches, use the tens unit, and have tried everything I can think of to improve my pain but it keeps coming back.  My family is getting sick of hearing about it (5 years so far) and I just stop talking about it.  I hate taking the vicodine and only take 1 1/2 a day along with nerve pain meds and a muscle relaxer if I really have to.  I'm an Activity Director at a Nursing Home and it makes me grateful for what I've got but it's a very physical job and I'm aftraid I won't be doing it for long.  I'm only 43 years old and my body feels like it's 63.  But you are right it's best to stay strong and stay positive.  I really hope you hear some good news.

Hi Corey, just wondering if you are feeling better?  I've had t7-t9 pain since 2007 and have had the epidural, medial branch blocks and finally the RFA that has worn off a year later.  I'm still working but it's getting harder to deal with the pain. What did the specialist say?  Hope you get some relief soon.
