L5,S1 OPERATION

Hi all, new to the forum, I had 10% of L5 disc removed 2 days ago monday. the pain in my leg was severe 8 out of 10, on coming out of teathre the pain and numbness had nearly gone mabey a 1 out of 10, its now wed and the pain and numbness is back up to 3ish, my question is am  i worrying prematurely, is it to early to make assumptions or does anyone know how long before i make assesments.

thanks for thr reply, having a disc removed im sure wasis a big deal and i wish yu well, i feel im getting better bye the day, i hav good parts of the day and bad parts but i suppose its all a recovery process and its healing time. I hope i improve each and every day, will keep you posted.

   Welcome to the forum -  i had L5/S1  360 fusion dec. 18 2008 - all disc removed - it was anterior/posterior surgery - i was about an 8 on pain pre-op and am about a 3 now- I will be honest, I have had a really tough time but i believe im getting better - I am having alot of what they call hardware pain in lower back - I know im not much help to ya but just letting you know were going thru aboutthe same thing - let me know how you progress and dood luck and god speed
