Left Shoulder

Hi there.. For the last year and a half I have had pains in my left shoulder which also seems to be giving me "pins & needles" down to my finger tips sometimes. the pain is coming from the underneath of my shoulder blade and normally hurts more while sitting down.

iv been to docs a few times and they advised "Physiotherapy" which i went to for about 3months and didn't make it any better at all

any ideas

Thank you in advance

Rob

I agree with humblerob. I've got very similar on the right side, and an MRI revealed disc protrusion and stenosis. Pain management is vital for rest and recovery.

Sounds like you may have a pinched nerve. I suffer with similar pain to yours but get pain down my arm also(MRI showed herniated cervical disc compressing a nerve) A scan should show what the problem is and I would recommend you get one done asap. A good pain management specialist will then hopefully be able to make a plan to help you manage the pain.
