A good chiropractor will be able to help that. Without knowing ur symptoms and how they correlate with ur finding (getting a copy of ur written mri will give u and us more detail)...its hard for anyone to see the full picture
You have a herniated disc in your Lumbar spine. The MRI result should give size (usually in mm) and note whether there is nerve root impingment or spinal stenosis.
This means that you have a herniated disc at the L1-2 level. I have been throuth this same process. Mine was pretty bad, so I was immideatly given really strong anti-inflamitories to reduce the swelling of the disc. I was given a strict regimen of physical therapy. I was very active, and told that I had to limit the amount of activity I could do to ensure that it would start healing. There were times when I was not allowed to do any activity whatsoever, but that didn't last too long for me. It really depends on how much your disc is protruding and how much pain you have so I cannot determine what this means exactly for you, but I can assume that it may be pretty similar to what I had to go through.
