The side effects to oral steroids are awful! I just finished a 4 day burst pack and I am glad to be off of them. However, if you can stick it out, they work...just puts you through a lot while taking them. Hang in there and as stated previously, if the side effects are not tolerable, please contact your doctor ASAP.

Well, usually when a medication is prescribed, the side effects of the medication are well evaluated against the benefits from using the drug. However if the side effects are not well tolerated or the side effects outweigh the benefits, alternative medication or discontinuation may be suggested. I would suggest consulting your treating doctor for a review.
