Pain down entire spine

Has anyone experienced this. Pain down the spine that is localised? It hits spontaneously and lasts about 30 seconds to a minute and may move from thoracic to lumbar then tail bone, ribs, shoulder. From the neck down to tail bone. It is so painful it takes my breath away. It is a stabbing dull ache not an electric shock.

Please help if you can.

Sounds like you have degeneration in the spine and with that there may be osteophytes that are likely to be pressing on nearby nerves.

Book an appointment to see your doctor to get some imaging tests done to find out if there is any damage along the spine.

In the meantime, don't do any activities that will aggravate the problem.
