Pain in left shoulder, arm and hand

For the past four years, I have these pains (on and off) that seem to generate in my left shoulder/neck area, and then the pain continues down my left arm into my left hand and small finger goes numb. Its impossible to sleep on my left hand-side. Most painful and uncomfortable.

I have tried physio treatment, acupuncture, massages, loads of medication, deep heat treatment and even electro needle treatment. Nothing seem to cure it long term.

They all say its a pinched nerve, but it never seems to heal and keeps coming back after a few weeks of any suggested treatment.

What can be causing this constant pain...I'm open to all suggestions, as it really has been going on now far too long.

You need someone who knows how to release your anterior and medial scalene muscles. This treatment is down while sitting in a chair.

Your breathing must be corrected if when you breath in you suck in your gut. This is called paradoxical breathing and it stresses the scalene muscles. I'm sorry I'm not able to help you more at this time but I'm leaving and I'll be gone until the end of the month.

Good luck!

I had a Medial Branch Nerve Block and it provided relief for a very similar pain.  I would check into maybe having one done... there is alot information online about the procedure... hope this helps you find relief.
