Cause of lightheadedness

I am a 46 year old female.  I have degenerative disc disease.  I have received Physical Therapy in past which seemed to trigger me seeing spots while doing certain exercises and traction.  I went to specialist for injections c4-c5 or c5-c6 It was about a week after my second treatment I started feeling lightheaded.  Usually happens anywhere from 10 minutes to 1 hour after I wake up and lasts most of the day.  standing and moving around is worse.  Internist ran blood tests but did not have any answers.Wants to try med to raise my blood pressure which I wasn't sure about because when I take my bp it tends to be normal or prehypertensive.  Trying to figure out if this lightheadedness is due to my neck problems or maybe something else.  premenopause? something else?  Medications I take are celebrex, lipitor, ambien.

Have you examined the possibilty of a vitamin deficiency like iron?  You may be anemic.  Of couse, I am not a doctor, but I have experienced this feeling and it was due to my diet habits.  I was one to never eat breakfast which would cause my sugar to plummet and then become very weak, lightheaded and sick feeling.  Just a suggestion to look into.
