Sever headach with neck pain

why does a violent headache ( with vomitting) affect by upper back and neck the pain is unbearable?

It seens tension headache due to neck problem (occiptal nerves area),Clinically it's very common problem.

are you saying that you have upper back and neck pain that is causing headaches?  do you know the cause of your headache. do you have a fever? if not, have you been to a neuro? need more info.  kimpton
