I'm a 20 year old male and today at the gym I was doing squats followed by jumping into the air. As I was doing so I felt a sharp pain in my lower back which prevented me from continuing. After performing various stretches as advised by a trainer it felt better but was by no means perfect. However, as I got home and lay down for a rest, as I got up again I found I could barely walk, the pain was too much. This was even after I had taken Ibuprofen. My question is, will the pain subside enough, lets say in a day for me to be able to walk around, for example to the shops and is there anything I can do to hasten the ability to do this? Or is there a more serious problem of which I am unaware of?
