Temp. Paralyzation, pain & sore

Sometimes I am paralyzed from the waiste down for about 5-10 seconds.  I am constantly sore in my lower, left back.  When I lean forward, it feels like pressure is released from my lower back & I am able to get some relief.  I do experience muscle spasms.  I have visited the doctor & completed several blood & urine tests.  I have gotten xrays & nothing but a small spot has been revealed  on my lower RIGHT side.  But the issue is in the LEFT side. I am a mother of 4 & have gotten the epidural injetion 3 times for delivery.

Any suggestions or help is appreciated.  Please.....

Well, the cost of MRI is about 3 or 4 times the cost of xray, so docs usually go for xray. Older docs can read an xray pretty well.

Please don't let this slide. You may have a serious problem.

Sorry, for the late reply.  But, I am trying to get affordable insurance again, since I was unable to work, I couldn't keep my insurance.  When I do I will get a MRI.  Thanks so much for the suggestion.  I looked up MRI & I learned that this may point directly to my problem.  Don't know why my doctor didn't recommend it.  Thanks so much!

I don't understand. You appear to have symptoms of severe spinal stenosis, and perhaps a spinal instability, but your xrays are negative?

If you do have this kind of spine disease, it could result in permanent paralysis.

If you are still experiencing these symptoms, you should not ignore it. Why isn't your doctor referring to a back specialist who will order an MRI?
