What is going on!

I have this pain that I got in the past 8 months and it is similar to sciatica. It is shooting pain from my butt down to my heel of that leg every time I take a step.  I get it probably when I sleep odd or I have a rough day and I am walking a lot. I am on pain management so there may be times when I have it but the painkillers make it less bad?

I am wondering what is causing it because recently when I had my son and the anesthesiologist was giving me a spinal/epidural she said it looked like I had been in a accident and hurt my back because there was extreme scarring and a "odd buildup" I am not sure I honestly forgot exactly waht she said but I know it took her SO MANY TIMES to get that painful needle in there and I was getting horrid pains down my right leg. Anyhoo... If anyone can help? Shed some light on my lil dilemma? Thanks

I'm no doctor, I can only speak from my own experience. I found a chiropractor to be most beneficial in treating my issues. I really wish u the best! *hugs*

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include nerve impingement/ pressure, vascular causes, inflammations, injuries etc. Spinal/ epidural may help in most conditions. It would be best to discuss the situation, the expected prognosis and the appropriate management plan in detail with your treating doctor.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
