anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion

I have neck pain. I am living in Canada
I did MRI , the doctor said there is severe multilevel degeneative disc disease with spinal cord compression. He sugguested me to do the surgery called anterior cervical corpectomy and fusion. After I read yr forums paitients comment.  I am so scare as there has a lot of bad feedback. May I know if there has another way to take care of it instead of surgery. Right now I have stiff neck pain.  Sore arms  and that is it.

yes. I found the sucess case only right after the surgery... how about after 8 years or later,  I am so afraid it needs another surgery one after one

you don't hear from the people who have had success in most of these forums..the rate of success is extremely high..I know 5 guys in their 50s..all doing well..I got my life back- routine recovery.  If you wait nerve damage can lead to permanent muscle loss-
don't let fear guide your life..good luck
