Hi,
Have you thought of getting more opinions from other doctors?
I made a mistake with only getting 2 opinions and went with one doctor who was very happy to rush me into surgery (I had the same symptoms as you).. And guess, what... the surgery failed and I am the same now as before (if not worse)...
So if I can give one piece of advice - get as many professional opinions as you can :)

hi , got mri , say i have lumbar disc degeneration in l2/3 down to l5/s1...facet joints wearing away.i'm goin physio and got some stretches ,( he says they  will help but wont take away my pain    !!!)physio helps some but not alot. my back hurts  & legs feel weak 24/7. some days i feel very down i feel so useless . i shall keep up with physio see how i get on.i'm goin to request a copy of my mri...thanks for all everyones help..x

I await for ur results with u!! U can request a copy of ur mri results within 48 hours after getting ur mri

thank you for your comments. i have seen a doctor and had an mri.. getting results soon.i went to physio who didnt want to do anything til mri results back. i was given some stretches from physio they ease it but still got symtoms.
i wait for my mri results , it should be interesting see what they say.

Wow, sounds just like what started my journey 18 months ago. I know what this is like, and its one big roller coaster of different levels and kinds of leg pains with associated weakness!! For me, the pain in my legs far surpassed any pain I had in my lower back. I too have to ask, have u seen a dr yet?
