back & neck adjustments after surgery

Is it safe to have spinal/neck manipulation after a Laminectomy surgery.  Two vertebrae had to be removed and replaced after spinal cord surgery to remove a tumor at T-2.  A titanium plate and two screws holding the plate attached to the vertebrae were put in.  Is it okay/safe to have adjustments to the neck and spine?

I believe an honest chiro would communicate his or her opinion on the safety of manipulations. I personally, only trust chiro's with my back after undergoing an open back surgery. I wish you well!! *hugs*

Thank you for responding.    I am very hesitant to have any manipulation done, and trying to convince a well-meaning relative, who is insisting I have a chiropractor perform adjustments, that my wishes need to be honored.

Every case is different, however I would be extremely hesitant about doing this. You run the risk of quadraplegia. If you really desire such treatment consult the surgeon who performed the operation for an opinion.
