See if getting a massage therapist with good anatomical understanding and pain management techniques brings some relief. Any concerns should first be cleared by your doctor. In many states though you don't need a doctors prescription. Sitting and or standing for long periods can be the cause of your symptoms. If you want to see my website its www.nycmassagemanhattan.com.

I would have to agree with kittyluv1, you may have a herniated or misplaced disc. The tingling feeling would most defently be you sciatic nerve being compressed. I have a herniated disc and have the same problem, it was a lot worse when i was pregnant, but somedays I would not be able to barley move, geting out of bed, siting on the toliet siting at all I would need help, and bending down even slightly forget about it. Since I had my daughter I have been taking a anitinflamatory and pain meds when needed but if you can bare with out pain meds and just a antiinflamatory or muscle relaxor i suggest to do so. You really should have an MRI done on the lower lumbar spine and that will most likely answer your questions and at least put your mind at ease, because you will not be able to take care of it until you know. Good luck with everything .
In the absence of any trauma, the symptoms you are experiencing could be related to degenerative disc changes in your lumbar spine. The tingling feeling down your leg may be due to pressure on the sciatic nerve from a disc protrusion or other bony changes in your lumbar spine.
It would be beneficial for you to make an appt with your primary care physician for a medical exam and baseline x-rays. If needed, an MRI would determine the amount of nerve involvement.
After you have obtained some initial diagnostic tests, post again with an update and any additional questions/concerns you may have.
Best wishes ----
