No, I don't use any pain medication other than celebrex once a day and 800mg IB as needed. the only time i have pain is when the weather changes, because of the steel rods & screws or when i do something stupid which i'm good at. Sorry about your stint in Nam, I got married fresh out of high school & they soon changed me to 3-A. They never called me, but I think about my friends all the time that did not come home and wonder why I stayed home. p.s. my wife is from Mexico N.Y.
That sucks.
Obviously the docs felt that disc problems were causing the problems?
I am 57- had back problems starting from my stint in Vietnam, but really at age 45 when I (re)injured my back. A number of neurologists and orthopedists suggested surgery. I was extremely leery of this. A friend of my wife from childhood, an orthopedist, recommended I see spinal surgeon in NYC.
He examined me, had aditional MRI's done and said you don't need surgery- it will not help.
This Dorctor nows evaluates and fixes problems, mainly from previous surgeries.
If you can get to NYc and see him ( ithink he still is here) he may be able to help.
Dr. Paul Brisson.
I wish you better times. Have pain medications helped?
