I'm afraid i don't exactly understand what you're saying/asking?
Do you mean MRI, x-ray, Mylogram pictures?
As for pain...well my only good lumbar disc is T12-L1 all the rest are herniated to varying degrees; had a decompression on L4-L5 and microdsectomy L5-S1 back in 98. I now am a canidate for bi-level fusion, which, to that i say "no thank you". I put up with alot of pain, though just recently i've started the pain management route.
My decision? i know i run the risk of catasrophic failure and perhaps never walking again, but i'm not going to say i'm prepared, just content with my decision.
The day when back surgery is as successful as knee or hip replacments...then i'll gladly hop back on the table.
