pain in shoulder blade...Acromion Process separation??

I was diagnosed with Acromion Process separation about a year ago....
since then the pain still comes and goes..sometime pretty bad in the right shoulder blade spreading under my right arm and under my ribcage. basically the whole right side of my chest and back.
a couple times after going to bed I have awoke to severe pain in my chest. I was even considering a trip to the ER to rule out my heart but after taking tums and walking the floor for about an hour, it subsided and was able to return to sleep.
I have noticed that after eating a large meal, sometimes the pain is worse.

my question is... could this be my gallbladder?

It's possible, but I wonder if it's acid reflux since it is related to lying down.  There are many antacids you could try, but my boyfriend discovered that taking Metamucil completely controls his heartburn.  He uses the pill form rather than the powder form.  He was taking it to control his high cholesterol, and it works well for that.  It wasn't surprising that it improved his bathroom experience and made him feel great that way, but what surprised him was that he stopped having heartburn.  Any time he misses his Metamucil, the first symptom is the return of heartburn.  Give it a try.

I think if it was your gallbladder, the symptoms would come after a fatty lunch too.  Plus you might be vomiting every morning.  I guess coffee was doing that to me when I had gallbladder stones.  It was every single morning.
