You should deffinatley go to you regular doctor. Always get a second opinion. Im learning that noe the hard way. Dont stop going to your chiropractor, they are great. Just sometimes it takes rest and time to heal. I know the pain can be unbearable. Take your pain meds and get a second opinion!!! Just expect to have some withdrawl symptoms from the oxy.
he gave me 90 pills, 3 times a day, so i dont know if that's a big amount of drugs
i feel lil bit sore where he did the injection for me, the problem is that i'm in pain for 3 weeks now, and the pain is getting worse day after day.
when i sit dow or get up forget it, it's like someone is killing me.
he told me if i didn't feel better after the celebrex to go back to him.
you think i should stop going to the cairopractor for now, and just take the medecine and see what will happen?
thanks for helping
Also, i forgot to mention. Take the oxy as needed only. They are highly addictive!!!!!!!! I know the need for pain releif, trust me. Ive been fighting doctors for 18 months now. YOU will have withdrawls from them and you can overdose, depending on the stregth you were perscribed. So dont take anymore that needed/perscribed.

Hi Sweetie, so sorry about your pain. Unfortunaltly, it varies from person to person. A cortisone injection is basicly a high dose injection of an antiinflammitory (as in advil). It is used to stop inflammation that puts pressure on the affected area. I had 3 cortisone shots in my neck and it didn't help at all. I had 2 herniated disks in my neck. Now, that doesnt mean it wont help you. You need to give it a couple of days. The injection site will be sore. How many injections did you Dr. order?
