Hi hope your hangin in there. I have deg disc desease in most of my lower back and a fusion which the doc said was a l5 s1 but turns out is A level higher and the reaSon I have Leg pain yet. I am afraid to do Anymore surgery they are not always good. I was fine for the first ten months but once I started doing work the pain came back. I can't walk far and somedays I have to lay around so the pain lessens. I know I wasn't greAt before but feel I am worse now. There are no standard answers. I even looked into the german stengle hospital who I feel offers more than american dr do.

Hi, I had fusion surgery with instrumentation feb 22nd of last year at l5/s1. I'm 10 1/2 months post-op and doing well. I experience a "stiff soreness" most days however I expect that to take longer to go away. I'm doing very well pain-wise. A few months back, I was still experiencing nerve pain in my legs that far surpassed any pain I felt in my back but that's subsided for which I'm very greatful!!! Sorry ur experiencing so much pain still!!!!! *hugs*
