serious back pain and adrenalin

Hi just wondering if anyone else finds this or can explain the following.I have serious spine problems, had one operation and waiting for another.had a car accident which caused a compression injury to the spine, which a few years later   and in bewteen, has now caused protruding prolapsed disc, spinal disc and facets degenerative joint disease, sciatic nerve damage, serious pain and numbness in right leg.Alot of days I struggle to walk because of horrendous pain in my spine and leg,yet I compete in my local car club events in which you have to walk roughly 1/4 mile for safety talk.On the day I find I can do this with no pain. and get in and out of car.It is a high speed timed event.Sort of from the evening before and whilsy doing the walk and competing I have butterflies in my tummy and the sweats and need to pee lots more!!After the event I find the pain returns more severly for quite a while {24hrs approx) Is this maybe due to adrenalin stopping the pain or my brain blocking the pain !

Nerve damage, Our bodies r so interesting my adrenalin try to help but not enough on pain killers. thats scary. vitamins etc. attitude is good most the time but i do have my down moments your not alone. Sorry just noticed the numbness. Try taking a complex b-12 for it. B-12 is supposed to help nerves heal. It works. I was taking it until I could not take the pain anymore because it was waking up the nerves that are getting pinched on me right now.

It could be from adrenalin but is more than likely that all the walking you are doing is causing inflammation. Try taking an anti-inflammatory before the start of the club event and then another dose that night before you go to bed to see if that helps. I take Black cherry extract capsules 750mg NOW brand 2 per day more on days when I am more active and they work better than the prescription meds the doctors gave me. Hope this was helpful. Best of luck to you.
