spine issue

I went to the chiropractor and he did an exam and x-rays, I am awaiting my next appt. but he did say that my spine was way out of place, he did some test where I stood  and when I moved there were strings on it? but it showed my posture was incorrect,  ever since then my back pain has gotten a bit worse and I also have some pains in my chest area and under arms. sharp pains that mainly come and go.  what causes the sharp pains in my back shoulders and chest, and the pins and needles?

Sounds like you have a bit of a nerve injury...if you haven't had a heart checkup lately- you should. Most likely it is not your heart but you should check it out to be safe. When you go to the chiropractor you should try and avoid quick manipulations, they can be slightly dangerous when applied to the neck due to an increased risk for stroke. It sounds like it may be arthritis and joints that have formed along the thoracic spine.  This won't show up on xrays though, but certain chiropractors can help make it less painful for you. There is also a procedure called myofacial release treatments, which are massages to relax your spind and joints. (See YouTube for examples).
