well hopefully today will be better, and I will find out how much it's going to cost to get my starter fixed ,plus hubby is home today so he can keep the busy lol thanks guys.
Yep its a habit not a symptom and its apparently almost always anxiety - my wife suffers from it and I keep telling her im going to cut her fingers off.. Yes i am joking about that bit.
Mind you she is jealous that I am the one who breaks nails in this house, mine just grow very fast.
Sounds like a fun time there and you have just described mutliple stressors - the best way to deal with anxiety like that is just find something to take your mind off it, something to do - Its probably cold there so a walk might not be best (wish it was cold here !) but just change anything and see if that can take your mind off it - it works suprisingly well.
Failing that there is always valium. And you might take some as well :) Hang in there ok.
Nail biting is a habit. Usually people do it to relieve anxiety. They also just do it because it's a habit and don't even realize they are doing it. Or out of boredom. I pop my knuckles. Have been since I was a kid. I like the way it feels. You sound stressed out and need some sort of release. You also sound pretty antsy. Put band aids on all your fingers. Might as well put band aids on your 7 year old. Kids get a kick out of that stuff. Sorry about your car. Anyways, to answer your question, in my opinion, I don't think nail biting is a symptom of BP. :)
