Am I Bipolar or ptsd too many, losses, depressed?

Hi ,
Recently I crashed mentally thought I was being followed and took pictures of about 500 cars and trucks everwhere for about a month until I checked in to behavioral Health where they admitted me for 9 days..The psych dr. put me on Wellbutrin 75mg first which was THE WINNING NUMBER TWICE A DAY.  But then he switched me to 300mg ER within a 9 day period so after 9 days I was psychotic got worse the entire situation that is and I was attacked by one
truck...Anyhow I just came out after going in again EVERYONE SAID I LEFT TOO SOON..AT BEHAVIORAL HEALTH IN NYC UPSTATE..AND I WAS ENTERED WITH *THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE 300 MG ER WAS THE CULPRIT
AND AS SOON AS THEY TOOK ME OFF AND PUT ME ON AMBILIFY MY PSYCHOTIC STUFF LEFT FOR GOOD.
BUT I'M NOW BACK TO THE SAME PERSON MY FRIEND WHO I'M VISITING NOW SAID CAUSE AM OFF THE WELL BUTRIN...SO I STARTED IT ON MY OWN AGAIN AND STOPPED THE AMBILIFY CAUSE I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK..I WAS IN FOR FOUR WEEKS AND NEED TO WORK AND HANDLE MY HEALTH PROBLEMS ALOT OF PAIN PHYSICAL PAIN DUE TO LEFT HIP AVN, SPINAL STENOSIS BOTH UP AND DOWN ETC..
Anybody here in the Org have an idea as to what to do I'm so nutty , and I'm changing subjects again fast, and my
speech is fast and my mood is well better since I started the Wellbutrin..But my psych in house dr. would not give
the very med that HELPED ME...
HELP? ANY ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT
I AM OCD, AND HAVE HAD SEVERAL PTSD SITUATIONS..AND AM STARTING TO FEEL LIKE PEOPLE ARE
WATCHING ME...AGAIN....GEEZ......
THANK YOU
PK

Your post made little sense, sorry. It sounds like you need to follow your psychiatrist's directions and stay on the medication that they put you on until they tell you to stop it. If you are manic and hallucinating, you need to stay on an anti-psychotic. Good luck to you.

I had the same situation with Anafranil as it treated symptoms of ocd but as it is (like Wellbutrin which is also an anti-depressent) it worsened the manic (and psychotic) aspects of schizoaffective disorder I have. Abilify will treat psychosis but is not specifically for ocd and many medications for ocd are anti-depressents as well and could worsen mania in a person with bipolar. You should ask your psychiatrist what is an appropriate option and also cognitive behavioral therapy in addition to medication is helpful with ocd.
