You know i always feel as though i see something in the corner of my eye. And i tend to freak myself out like over think stuff...like i am taking a shower and i get a freaky feeling...does that have anything to do with bipolar or ocd?
Never mind, I found some good information that has helped, thanks anyway : )
I have never thought about the OCD like that. You have given me something to think about. If you don't mind can you go in a little more detail about that?
Thanks,
Larry
I have a family member who has cyclothymia (mild bipolar) anxiety disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. I have schizoaffective disorder which is schizophrenia with a mood disorder but was told by my psychiatrist the obsessive thoughts I had and still have to some extent were to mask psychotic thoughts.
The best way I found to approach treatment was to underestand how it works and why its being prescribed. I generally discuss that with my psychiatrist and update myself with current relevant information. When a person has two concerns such as bipolar and ocd the symptoms and concerns can overlapt and when one is occuring the other can worsen.
