I got to the doc next week and i am going to ask him to up my dose some - now we are up to three weeks - the great thing about this med is only costs me $7.00 while the other is $30 - can't be $37.00 for bi-p. meds  Now I am very angry and yelling at everyone again - i hate it

Yes, you might want to get your blood levels checked.  Mine was after two weeks on Lithium.  Pyrate is right, tell your doctor.  However, I would not recommend Darvocet for pain, it is very physically addictive to the body.  Also on Lithium you can not use any anti-inflammitory like Aleve or Motrin, it can cause the Lithium to become toxic in your system.  I occasionally use an Aleve or Asprin, but only one and only when I have a headache I can not kick with Tylenol.  Hope this helps!

It took almost a month for the stuff to kick in my system and I had headaches for a while too.  It actually sounds like your dosage may be off.  Mine was.  You might want to get with your shrink and ask if he really thinks this dose is theraputic or if you can try something a bit less side & a lot more effect.  I know everybody says "tell the dr" but they're right, he can't fix what he don't know is wrong.   Shane
P.S. the Tylenol or Darvocet worked great for the headaches but motrin did little to none for me.

Nope, not me.  However, it took two months for the Lithium to really start working!
