Yes, Depakote is an anti-seizure drug... It is also used for prophylactic treatment for MIGRAINES . ( to prevent them)...

Thank you, so I noticed. Perhaps that is not a bad idea! I was mistaken again as I take Depakote DR which fortunately also comes in 125mg tablets. ....very good if I want to go down (working at it) or need to go up.

Most bipolar medications are primarly used for epilepsy... but also used for bipolar.
