Anyone else on Emsam? I started it about a month ago. No side effects but I am not sure that it is doing anything for me. It is an MAOI transdermal patch. It requires a restrictive diet or you can go into a hypertensive crisis.
According to two pdoc's, the wonderful thing about the patch is the diet restriction is very minimal. In pill form it's a big deal.
I am currently on the patch, I have been on it for 2 years now.
I did not start feeling the effects of the patch for around a month and a half after I started wearing it.
