Thank you, it's been so rough on the whole family. Thank you for the advice
I remember feeling totally nutz, and my wife kept trying to help and talk to me about what was going on. I remember saying, "Just be happy, do your thing, that is the best thing you can do for me." I felt horrible sucking people into my insanity, them trying to focus on me made it worse. I just wanted my family to be happy, in spite of me. By seeing them live and do things, not affected by me, is what gave me an idea of what I was aiming for. They were affected, but they tried not to be, at my request. It's confusing to be in an altered state of mind. Whatever is said to me gets turned around and around and turned into something else, until I calm down Try out the above suggested groups, focus on being at peace, give him an example of how it CAN be. Let him know of resources you discover, but don't harp on it. Good luck.
There's a support group for Family & Friends. It's thru NAMI & DBSA.
There's web sites to check time & place in your area.
