I've only recently been diagnosed with bipolar 2 after a hypomanic phase. I was the one to point it out to my dr. Now I'm heading into a downer. Imiss my high. Does anyone else miss the high's?

I would love to have some highs instead of all my lows. That is why I am on here to talk to other people.

Id love to have just the highs and not the lows but its not going to happen, the lows do get better but then again we all go through periods.

Thats why we come here as well, its really important to hear other voices, its gotten me through some very hard times.

I definitely miss my highs, they are literally the "highlight" of my life at times.  I've not yet found the combination that stops my lows so I currently fluctuate more between stages of lows.

Hanging in sure gives me sore fingers - sometimes I'm better at it than others.

You are definitely not alone and glad you find this site, its a big help the vast majority of the time.

Thanx. It's good to know I'm not alone. The hanging in part is so hard because I've been doing just that for years. I want the magic wand! LOL

Very tired and unmotivated at the mo.

Yes its normal to miss them and suffer a little grief but trust me it gets better, no you do not get as high but with treatment and medication you also do not get as low.

Hang in there, it gets easier.
