I need help understanding this

I hear screaming in my head. I do not hear voices. Any kind of sound sounds like it is way louder than it actually is. When this happens it is like I am going a hundred miles an hour even though I try to slow down. Right after this happens I instantly start crying, and I can't control it. I have not idea what is happening. Has anyone ever had this happen. I don't know what is going on and I am just trying to find someone that can try to help me understand this and help me.

I can relate in a way. I have had the very high pitched tone combined with an odd "like something is frying in a pan". These sounds change up sometimes. My Mom had it all her life & we both have found it difficult to tolerate. I have been taking a mild Benzodiazapine for anxiety & it has made it nearly "shut up". Without it I would go completely nuts. This Med serves another purpose also. I has Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy & it calms the continually buzzy like electricity zapping my affected foot. A Med that serves 3 purposes successfully!  My Mom passed away some years ago, she always said! "She got used to screaming".
We are all different.  I so hope you will find something soon. It's a more than miserable life. I certainly understand.

Do you experience mood swings or intrusive thoughts only during these episodes or at other times as well? Are there any specific emotional triggers or anything else that can set them off? Is what you are describing not emotionally controllable or not physically controllable? Intrusive thoughts can sometimes set off mood swings but as what you are describing sounds complex it would be worthwhile to have a general physician rule out any other concerns and  then see if you could obtain a referral to a psychiatrist.
