My son takes 300 mg at bedtime It seems to only make him sleepy at the time he takes it. It has definitely helped regulate his sleep.
You still may get sleepy for a week or so until you djust to the higher dose but you may get lucky and skate through that part. Either way it will only be temporary and probably not as bad as when you first started Seroquel. That's how it worked for me when my dose was doubled.
The good news is if it's helping you know you'll feel even better in a couple weeks.

I took seroquel at night only but when I needed to be on it during the day, my Doctor put me on Geodon for the day only. he said it works just like Seroquel but does the opposite and keeps you up. I was sceptical but it really workd well. At first though you might feel a little racy the first couple of days. I can't take Seroquel during the day, it makes me feel paralyzed.
