i am disturbed

Hi, I am 27, male and working.
I feel that the shutters to my brain get totally closed, the moment I enter the office.
I feel totally stupid, lose all the creativity and make all the mistakes. THIS SPECIFICALLY HAPPENS AT MY WORK PLACE ONLY.
After the office hours, I feel normal, relaxed and can fix any issue and feel absolutely OK.
I thought that this could be because of certain environment in the office, so I changed my job. This did not work. At my new work place, I still have the same problem, I CANNOT WORK ANY GOOD IN OFFICE. I  am in a position from where it is getting important to climb the corporate ladder and be appreciated at work.

My other problems at work are:

1. I know some situation, i cannot explain iot to my boss. I mix up the words and say something rubbish. No matter what, I cannot say and explain what I intend to speak or explain.

2. Like stated earlier, I feel very confused at work. I am very soft hearted and am persuaded easily.

3. I always feel myself in a state of being in a great "hurry" or being "restless". I resume totally normal , calm and composed after work but why why why I behave such dumb in the office ?????

Think about what is going on and discuss it with your therapist and psychiatrist. Then if you can find out a way to declare a reasonable accomodation for your disability under the Americans with Disabilities Act discuss it with your supervisor. You only have to disclose it to your suprervisor. There should be some way to modify things so you will be able to work and perform what is called the essential function of the job at the same time but think it over first.

It does sound like some sort of anxiety. You say you become easy to persuade, and you can't speak clearly to your boss, and you have trouble concentrating. Something in your work is triggering this, but it is hard to say what. It may not even feel like anxiety to you. You say you need to climb the ladder and be appreciated, that's a lot of pressure and stress right there.

I have a feeling you may benefit from speaking to a therapist. I bet there are some other issues going on below the surface that maybe you are blocking or not fully aware of.

Maybe you're suffering from work related problems such as anxiety just from the sheer stress of being at work itself.
