No energy or focus

Hi,

I'm currently taking Lithium and Zyprexa and in the last few weeks I have no energy to do anything. I also can't really sit down and work on anything. My brain seems to be too slow most of the time. I'm not feeling depressed and I get enough sleep so would it be the medication causing it? If so, what do you think my pdoc can do about it?

Hai
See these Psychiatric drugs initially causes all these kind of side effects.
Once your body adjusts to the medicines ,you will be normal .ok , Don't worry.
Take good food, do not fast.

Thanks

Yes lithium and Zyprexa can both cause cognitive confusion and sedation, especially Zyprexa although each person responds differently to each medication. It also depends on dose. You could explain all of this to your psychiatrist and they could adjust and/or change your medication as needed.
