What to do??

I was diagnosed with Bipolar Diorder about 1 1/2 years ago. I am currently on Lithium and an anti-depressant. I am awful about taking my meds...especially now that I am on summer brak and don't have much of a routine (I am a teacher). I suddenly feel like I am falling apart. I am depressed....but manic....with anxiety. I feel impulsive, but, at times, I am short tempered with my son and family.  I know the answer.....take your medicine!! But, can anyone give me suggestions as to how to keep up with my meds each and every day? It is so easy to forget....one missed day turns into two and that turns into five....I will take any suggestions offered. Otherwise, I feel I am going to drift onto the dark side.....

That is a good idea what mom2four85 says, I bet there is an app for it!
Is there anyone you could rely on to remind you? My partner sorts out all my prescriptions for me or I'd never have any meds, he collects them for me and then puts them in the pill divider and organises them into days.. I am rubbish otherwise.
You could leave your meds in a place that you would see them? like in the bathroom near your toothbrush?

I take different meds at different times of the day and would forget sometimes until I used my cell phone or Ipod to set an alarm reminder; now I don't forget.
